Self-Paying Patients

Upon Admission

• To pay full deposit – amount depends on type of treatment and room.
• Payment can be made in cash, online transfer or major credit cards / debit cards.

Upon Discharge

• The ward clerk will prepare your bill. You will be notified when your bill is ready.
• Proceed to the Cashier Counter to settle insufficient amount or collect your excess deposit (if any).
• Please present your official receipt when collecting your refund.

Corporates

Upon Admission

• Present Guarantee Letter (GL) or Certified Admission Letter (CAL) before admission.
• In the event of an emergency, please present GL or CAL on the next working day.

Upon Discharge

• The ward clerk will prepare the bill. You will be notified when your bill is ready.
• Proceed to Cashier Counter to settle any excess amount, not covered by the company.

Insurance / Medical Health Card Holders

Upon Admission

• Present Medical Health Card for corporate desk located at the admission counter to obtain the approval of guarantee letter before proceeding for admission.
• Your consent to release medical information is required to obtain initial guarantee status.
• The Medical Claim Form (Part 1) will be filled up by your attending doctor and faxed to the insurance company or Managed Care Organization (MCO) to obtain initial letter of guarantee.
• A minimum deposit of RM300 will be collected to offset any related charges not borne by insurer.
• In the event when the insurance company or MCO does not guarantee your admission, the Corporate Billing officer will notify you and you are required to place a further deposit.

Upon Discharge

• The ward clerk will prepare the bill. You will be notified when your bill is ready.
• Medical Claim Form (Part 2) will be filled up by your attending doctor and faxed to the insurance company or MCO to obtain initial letter of guarantee.
• The company will fax the final guarantee letter to the Hospital if your admission is covered.
• In the event that the insurance company or MCO Company does not guarantee your admission in full, the Ward Clerk/Corporate Billing Clerk will notify you and you will be required to place a further deposit or to settle the bill.
• Proceed to the Cashier Counter. The balance of your deposit will be refunded to you after deducting any charges not borne by the insurers. Please present your official receipt when collecting your refund.
